Topic: Dua After The Adhaan

	Assalaamu Alaykum.. Question : Is it upon the one who calls the adhaan to recite the dua after it. I have heard (from a brother) that Shaykh Al-Albaani (Rahimullah)said it is an innovation (in a tape that He cannot recall the title of).. and on the other hand I have heard on an audio file Shaykh Al-Albaani reciting the dua after He called the adhaan himself. I would appreciate it of one of the brothers/sisters on this forum can shed some light on the issue! Baarak'Allaahu Feekum! Assalaamu Alaykum ابو عبيد طارق ابن ورثمين خان الختقى

	ahkee leave doubt for that which is clear. You have what you yourself witnessed with your own two ears, saheeh?, and on the other hand what a brother told you but couldn't remember his source....subhanAllah. This brother has to bring his proof for what he says. Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam), "May Allaah make make pleasant the man who heard a hadeeth from us and then conveyed it (to another)."
