As-salaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh~ Is it permissible to eat food, especially meat, that has been cooked over an open flame or has touched the flames directly? Barakallahu feekum. Umm Hussam

To the best of my knowledge it is permissible to eat it. In addition to this, the correct and soundest opinion regarding the hukm (ruling) on performing wudoo after eating meat that has been touched by fire has been abrogated. And Allaah knows best Dawud Adib
