The Islamic Cultural Centre in London(Central Mosque), have certain guidlines for working out prayer times which all the other mosques in and around London tend to follow. (see the link below)

http://www.islamicculturalcentre.co.uk/iccnew/guidelines.doc

Firstly during May the times for isha and Fajr change dramtically so that 'Isha becomes really late and Fajr very early. The signs to be able to know when 'Isha and Fajr are are still apparent but because of the awkwardness of the times Regents park do not go by it and estimate to make it easy on the people.(Ie the congregational prayer, and if ever ramadhaan was during this time)

From the end of May to the middle of July, the signs to be able able to determine 'Isha and Fajr are not there, and therefore they estimate. For that period they have another timetable which they call the "Shaafi'i" timetable which has those times for the nearest city that these signs can be seen.

Now my questions are: Firstly for May when the signs can still be seen, is it right for them to estimate even though they can still see the signs no matter how awkward?

And secondly during the times when the signs are not there what should be done in that situation? Use the times for the nearest city? Estimate? And if estimate estimate from when? from the late times when the signs were still apparent in May? or as they have done from a less awkward time at the beginning of May.

Do some of the students of knowledge know the answers? or can they ask someone of knowledge for the answers? This will greatly be appreciated.  Could theis be done ASAP as the month of May is now approaching.....
