Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah When standing in jama'ah before the prayer begins a person does not join his feet with the person next to him. The evidence has been shown to him but he is adamant not to change. Is it therefore correct to move away and stand next to someone else everytime this happens as this sort of behaviour can affect one's own prayer? JazzakAllah Khair. من وصل صفا وصله الله ومن قطع صفا قطعه الله What can you do for people who insist that Allaah cuts them off? Fill the gaps yourself, advise the brother/sister to do so, and realize that some of the Muslims are weak and they prevent themselves from worshipping Allaah properly. wallaahul-Musta'aan. Na'am, that would be the math-hab of Iblees. Actually, people say it is from the Hanafee math-hab, but I don't believe there is anything established about it in their math-hab, wallaahu a'lam. Even if it was, we would be obliged to shun it and follow the way of the believers (the Companions). Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem as salaamu 'alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatuh! When praying out amongst Sisters say for jumu'ah, what should we do when NONE of the sisters stand shoulder to shoulder foot to foot? Should I pray in the back by myself? I reside in chicago where the majority of the muslims are not on this daw'ah (salafi daw'ah). They move away when I try to get close. What should I do? Jazakallahu khayr! "And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out(from every difficulty). And He will provide for you from sources he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him."
