Wa 'alaikumus salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu

Akhi the ayah you quoted is in Suratul An'aam (6) ayah 130. Not Suratun Namal.

Ibn Katheer rahimahullaah explains in his Tafseer with the checking of Ahmad Shaakir, when Allaah The All Mighty says:

("O you assembly of Jinn and humans! Did not there come to you Messengers from among you")

We should note here that the Messengers are from among mankind only, not vice versa, as Mujaahid, Ibn Jurayj and others from the Imaams of the Salaf and later generations have stated.
And Ibn Abbaas said " The Messengers are from the children of Aadam, and from the Jinn were Warners."
And Ibn Jareer relates on the authority of Dahaak ibn Muzaahim that he claimed that there were Messengers from the Jinn, using this noble verse itself as a proof, and this angle as an evidence is weak because although it is a possibility it is not what is clear and apparent (based on the evidences).

And this issue, and Allaah knows best, could be compared to the saying of Allaah:

(He has let loose the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together). (Ar-Rahman 55:19)

The salt water and the sweet.

(Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress). (Ar-Rahman 55:20)

up until the saying of The Almighty:

(Out of them both come out pearl and coral). (Ar-Rahman 55:22)

Ibn Katheer goes on to explain (using this as an analogy) that it is a well known fact that pearls and corals come out of salt water and NOT sweet. And this is clear, and All praise be to Allaah.
And Ibn Jareer himself has given this same example and explanation to this issue.

The proof for this is that Allah said,

(Verily, We have sent the revelation to you as We sent the revelation to Nuh and the
Prophets after him.) (An-Nisaa 4:163)

up until the saying of The Almighty:

(Messengers as bearers of good news as well as of warning in order that mankind should have no plea against Allaah after the (coming of) Messengers.) (An-Nisaa 4:165)

And Allaah The All Mighty said regarding Ibraaheem alaihis salaam:

(And We ordained among his offspring prophethood and the Book). (Al-'Ankabut 29: 27)

Thus sending the prophethood and the Book exclusively through the offspring of the Prophet Ibraaheem. No one has claimed from mankind that there were Prophets from among the Jinn before the time of Ibraaheem, and certainly not after it.

And Allaah The Most High said:

(And We never sent before you (O Muhammad sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) any of the Messengers but verily, they ate food and walked in the markets).(Al-Furqaan 25:20)

And He (Allaah) said:

(And We sent not before you (as Messengers) any but men, whom We inspired from among the people of townships).(Yusuf 12:109)

And it is well known that in this issue the jinn follow mankind and with this Allaah The Most High informs us that:

(And (remember) when We sent towards you (Muhammad sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) Nafran (three to ten persons) of the jinn, (quietly) listening to the Qur'aan, when they stood in the presence thereof, they said: "Listen in silence!" And when it was finished, they returned to their people, as warners).(Al-Ahqaf 46:29)

(They said: "O our people! Verily! We have heard a Book (this Qur'aan) sent down after Moosa (Moses), confirming what came before it, it guides to the truth and to a Straight Path (i.e. Islaam)).
(Al-Ahqaf 46:30)

(O our people! Respond (with obedience) to Allaah's Caller (i.e. Allaah's Messenger Muhammad sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam), and believe in him (i.e. believe in that which Muhammad sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam has brought from Allaah and follow him). He (Allaah) will forgive you of your sins, and will save you from a painful torment (i.e. Hell-fire)). (Al-Ahqaf 46:31)

(And whosoever does not respond to Allaah's Caller, he cannot escape on earth, and there will be no Awliyaa (protectors) for him besides Allaah (from Allaah's Punishment). Those are in manifest error). (Al-Ahqaf 46:32)

Assalaamuaalaikum

References Attached. Sorry I thought I posted this before attaching references. Here are the details.

Imam Ibn Taymiyyah rahimahullah said in al-Furqaan:
Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam was sent to the entire mankind &  jinn and this is of greater standing with Allah taýala as compared to the jinn being made subservient to Sulaymaan alayhi salaam, for they were made subservient to his hukm(command) as a King. But as for Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam (he was) sent to them to command them with whatever Allah has commanded and His Messenger due to him being a servant Messenger. And the manzilah (station) of the servant Messenger is above the manzilah (station) of the Prophet King. And the kuffar from amongst the jinn shall enter the Fire based on the texts and ijmaaý but as for the muýmineen amongst them, the majority of the ulamaa have (stated that) they would enter jannah, and the Messenger (has been raised) from amongst mankind  (children of aadam only) and there was not raised from amongst the jinn any Messenger. But there are warners amongst them, and this issue has been explained in a different place.

Last week, in the explanation of this book, Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan commented that all the Messengers that were raised were from the children of Aadam and were men only. And from the jinn there were warners just like they heard from the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam and went back as messengers to their people conveying the
message.

Answering a question Shaykh al-Fawzaan also said that the Aayah {"Verily! We have heard a Book (this Qur'?n) sent down after Musa.."} does not establish that Musa alayhi salam was sent to the jinn.

Al-Baghawee said in the tafseer of this aayah:

Ataa said: their religion was jewish, and that is why they said, ?They said: "O our people! Verily! We have heard a Book (this Qur'?n) sent down after Musa (Moses), confirming what came before it, it guides to the
truth and to a Straight Path (i.e. Islam). (Al-Ahqaf 46:30)?.
[Baghawee Page 4/158]

Al-Baghawee said in his tafseer: Mujaahid said: The Messengers from the mankind, and the warners from the jinn, then he recited ý..they returned to their people as warnersý. And they are a people (from amongst the jinn) who heard the speech of the Messengers and would convey (what they heard) to (others amongst) the jinn that which they heard. And there are no Messengers from the jinn. As for the statement ýMessengers from amongst youý,  turns towards one of the two distinguished species  and they are the mankind.
[Muýllimut-Tanzeel - 2/108]

Qurtubee mentioned in his tafseer:

[Qurtubee 19/229]

The statement of Allah:
"They said: "O our people! Verily! We have heard a Book (this Qur'?n) sent down after M?sa (Moses)".

"Which is al-Qur?an?, and they were the believers in (the message, Tauraath) of Musa.
Ataa' said: They were jews and they accepted islam, and that is why they said ?sent down after Musa".

And from Ibn Abbas (who said, that the jinn did not hear the command (injeel) of Eesa, that is why they said "sent down after Musa".

Ibn Abbas radhiAllahu Anhu said: The messengers from amongst the jinn, they are those who convey to their people that which they had heard from the wahee (revealed to the Prophets & Messengers from amongst mankind only); as Allah said, "..they returned to their people as warners".

And Mujahid said: Messengers from mankind, and warners from the jinn; he then recited "..they returned to their people as warners". And this is the meaning of the statement of Ibn Abbas, and this is correct and
explanation concerning it will succeed in al-Ahqaaf.

And al-Kalbee said: There were Messengers before the raising of Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam that were raised (and sent) to the entirity of mankind and jinn.

Al-Qurtubee went on to refute this saying of al-Kalbee,

I (Qurtubee) say: And this is incorrect, but in Saheeh Muslim from the hadeeth of Jaabir bin Abdullah al-Ansaaree who said: Jabir b. 'Abdullah al-Ansari reported: The Prophet (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: "I
have been conferred upon five (things) which were not granted to anyone before me (and these are): Every Prophet was sent particularly to his own people, whereas I have been sent to all the red and the black the
spoils of war have been made lawful for me, and these were never made lawful to anyone before me, and the earth has been made sacred and pure and mosque for me, so whenever the time of prayer comes for any one
of you he should pray whenever he is, and I have been supported by awe (by which the enemy is overwhelmed) from the distance (which one takes) one month to cover and I have been granted intercession."

And Ibn Abbas said, Messengers before were sent to the mankind but Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam was sent to the mankind and jinn; this has been mentioned by abul-Layth as-Samarqandee.

And it is said: People from the jinn would hear from the Prophets and would return back to their people and inform them....

Qurtubee also said:

Muqaatil (bin Sulaymaan) said: Allah did not raise a Prophet for the jinn and mankind before Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.

Qurtubee chose this tafseer and quoted the hadeeth from Saheeh Muslim as his proof...

Jaabir bin Abdullah al-Ansaaree who said: Jabir b.

Then he quoted Mujahidýs  explanation of this wording from the hadeeth:
Mujaahid said: The red and the black: (meaning) the Jinn and the Mankind.

Shaykh Nasir as-Sa?dee said in his tafseer:

{"They said: "O our people! Verily! We have heard a Book (this Qur'?n) sent down after M?sa (Moses), confirming what came before it, it guides to the truth and to a Straight Path (i.e. Islam)} because the Book of Musa is the asl(foundation) for injeel and authority for the children of Israel in the rulings of (their) shar'eeah.

And as for the injeel it completes, perfects and alters some of the rulings.

Wallahu A'lam.
