This is a summary of the first half of the book pertaining to al-Asmaa' was-Sifaat. This is the first version and may be updated with slight changes - such as addition of references from the Qur'aan, or slight variation in wording to make it more compact. Taqreeb ut-Tadmuriyyah of Shaykh Ibn `Uthaymeen has been relied upon. All updates will be posted on this thread. This is more useful to those who have already studied the book, and it serves as a memory, revision aid, or a checklist. It is basically, a structual summary, useful for those who already have notes. The maps contain more or less all the details, with the exception of a number of matters that could not be fitted in. This was to allow the maps to be printed on A4 size, without making the size too small to read. Suggestions, advice and improvements welcomed. |

Part 1: The Introduction, Two Foundations, and Two Examples |
|
Note that the two foundations and the two examples given, and the seven rules (below), are actually an illustration of the truth of what is in the introduction made by Shaykh ul-Islaam to the book, namely the various principles of Ahl us-Sunnah outlined by Shaykh ul-Islaam, and this is what Shaykh ul-Islaam indicated by saying, "And this will become clear by two noble foudations, two examples that are struck - and to Allaah belongs the loftiest example - and a comprehensive ending [comprising seven rules]". So consider the two foundations, two examples and seven rules to be a tafseer of the muqaddimah. |

Regarding the translation, the majority of at-Taqreeb was dictated out and detailed notes were made by a couple of the brothers who attended the lessons. |

Exactly which lessons are you referring to?
