Bismillaahirrahmaanirraheem,

Is has been officially declared in Saudi that, due to the moon having not been sighted, Saturday 29th November corresponds to 1st Dhul-Hijjah.

Therefore the Day of 'Arafah will be Sunday 7th December

and 'Eid will be Monday 8th December.

Asalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakaatuh!

I had a specific question about the sacrifice on Eid. Is it sufficient for
other family members to slaughter on your behalf or does the man of the
household have to somehow contribute, like pay for it and the likes? Also,
would it be accepted if it is paid for and facilitated by a woman from the
household? Basically, if anyone has rulings on this issue, please post them
here inshaAllah
