The community of Barbados (which has a small yet vibrant salafee presence) is in need of some assistance for the masjid. The local salafee masjid is in need of important repairs to it's roof. For anyone who would be kind enough to help repair the house of Allaah, please send payment

The Caribbean is prone, wal-hamdulilaah to strong storms and even hurricanes, and whilst many of the islands such as Antigua are devoid of any real Islamic presence, the small group of brothers and sisters in Barbados have been striving to operate the small but essential masjid, and will be hosting insha'Allaah the 2nd leg of the upcoming seminar 'Islam in our Times' (see sticky for details).

Alhamdulilaah we have started phase one of our renovation and building project which when completed will have fully renovated male and female pray area as well as upgraded facilities and a new primary school.
The Messenger of Allaah said ?Whoever builds a Masjid desiring through that the face of Allaah, Allaah will build for him a home in Paradise?
With the help of Allaah, we have managed to start phase one of our project which consist of the following:
1. Rebuilding of the front of the Masjid which include the entire front structure
2. The removing and replacing of some windows as well as repairing of existing ones.
3. Extending the female section which will house the school temporary and painting it.
4. Tiling, painting, and replacing the doors of our male washroom.
5. Replacing doors and locks of the entrance of our Masjid.
With the completion of phase one we still have the task of repairing the roof, the renovation of the sisters washroom, kitchen, and wudu area as well as painting the entire facility.
We have ask our Brothers at troid.org to collect donations on the behalf of the Islamic Teaching Centre which is located in Harts Gap, Christ Church, Barbados.
