Asalaamu 'alaykum wa rahmathulaahi wa barakaathuhu
I came across a hadeeth and wanted to know of its authenticity. Could one of the students of knowledge assist:

Everytime a woman annoys her husband in this life, his wife among al-hoor al-'ein (the wives of paradise) say "Do not annoy him, may Allah fight you! He is nothing but a guest with you, and he is very nearly about to be separated from you and come to us!"

If this hadeeth is authentic, how do we understand the meaning of the hadeeth: "annoys her husband"? I would assume this means annoying him in relation to her disobedience of Allaah and violating one of the rights a wife has to fulfil towards her husband?
Could a brief explanation from the 'ulema be provided for this hadeeth?

wa 'alaykumus-salaamu wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh,
at-Tirmithee said in his Sunan (#1174):
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: (( لاَ تُؤْذِي امْرَأَةٌ زَوْجَهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ قَالَتْ زَوْجَتُهُ مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ لاَ تُؤْذِيهِ قَاتَلَكِ اللَّهُ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ عِنْدَكَ دَخِيلٌ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يُفَارِقَكِ إِلَيْنَا. ))
Al-Hasan ibn 'Arafah narrated to us that Ismaa'eel ibn 'Ayyaash said, on the authority of Buhayr ibn Sa'd, on the authority of KHaalid ibn Mi'daan, on the authority of Katheer ibn Murrah al-Hadhramee, on the authority of Mu'aath ibn Jabal, who narrated on the authority fo the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam), who said:
"No woman harms her husband in the dunyaa except that his wife from the hoor 'een says, 'Do not harm him, may Allaah fight you! For verily he is only a guest with you, and he is about to leave you for us!'"
Ismaa'eel ibn 'Ayyaash is in the chain, who is weak except when he narrates from the people of Shaam, and Buhayr is from them, so he is OK here, as clarified by al-Albaanee in the Silsilah (#174), and also alluded to by at-Tirmithee:
هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَرِوَايَةُ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ عَنِ الشَّامِيِّينَ أَصْلَحُ وَلَهُ عَنْ أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ وَأَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ مَنَاكِيرُ
This is a hasan hadeeth, we do not know it except by this way, and the narration of Ismaa'eel ibn 'Ayyaash on the authority of the people of Shaam is better, while he narrates on the authority of the people of Hijaaz and 'Iraaq some contradictory narrations.
It was also collected by Ibn Maajah in his Sunan (#2014).
As for the kind of harm intended, it has come in a general way, and I did not find any scholars specifying it. If I find something, I will post it in shaa' Allaah.

May Allaah increase you with beneficial knowledge my brother Moosa, jazakallaahu khairan.
Yes, an explanation as to what the Prophet ('alayhi salaatu wa salaam) meant by: "annoys her husband" would be very beneficial, barakallaahu feek.

the word used in the hadeeth is ( تؤذي ) or "to harm". The translation: "to annoy" is a weak one, since annoying is only one kind of harming. A harm ( أذى ) is general in the language, and to restrict it to "annoying" requires a text, since a woman can harm her husband without annoying him, ie. by allowing his property to be damaged or abused without his knowledge, or harming his reputation by bakcbiting him and he doesn't even know it.
So don't stick to that translation of "annoying" since it seems to be restricting the text without evidence, and Allaah knows best.
