IN THE NAME OF ALLAAH THE MOST GRACIOUS THE MOST MERCIFUL.
al-Hamdu-Lillaahi Rabbil-'Aalameen was-Salaatu was-Salaamu 'alaa Ashrafil-Anbiyaa.e wal-Mursaleen, wa ba'd:
As salaamu alaikum warahmatullah,
Can the knowledgeable brothers please provide an explanation of this hadeeth, in light of the current situation of the Muslims? JazakAllaahu khair

Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) led us in prayer and prolonged it, and when the people said, "Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), you have prayed a prayer such as you have not been accustomed to pray," he replied, "Yes, it was a prayer of hope and fear during which I asked Allah for three things, two of which He granted me but one of which He refused me.
