Just a reminder to the brothers, please could someone verify when the 9th and 10th of Muharram will fall insha'allaah. Also some people have asked me about this so I said I'll verify the date and inform them.
Is today (7th of March) the 4th of Muharram?
I cannot see the date on the Fatwa-online site, do they post the date on the site any more?

Very pertinent question for those who seek to avail themselves to following a Sunnah. Rasulullah [sallallahu alahi wa salam] had said "It is the Day of 'Ashoora. Allah has not made fasting on this day obligatory for you but I am fasting. He who likes to observe fast amongst you should do so, and he who likes not to observe it may not observe it." [Imam Muslim]
Our question in seeking confirmation upon the beginning of Muharram [i.e. new moon of], would aid in this matter of counting to the 9th & 10. I've different things at different sites, but if a Salafi has information, insha'allah, this would be calmness to the heart.
