InshAllah on 9th October our beloved brother Hasan as-Somalee hafidhahullah will be delivering the Jumuah Khutbah and a lecture betweenMaghrib & Isha on the topic "Raising Families in the West" in Groton, Connecticut. There will be a Q&A session also after the lecture.

It is an excellent opportunity for Salafees particularly in New England to benefit inshAllah since there are not many lectures by Salafi Duaat/Mashaykh in this region.
Aboo Umaamah-radiyallaahu 'anhu reported that the Prophet (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam)said, "Whoever goes out to the mosque, not intending except to learn some good or to teach it, then for him shall be reward like that of a person who performs Hajj, whose Hajj is complete."

I hope all the Salafyoun, atleast in the New England region, would come personally to the venue to benefit and gain the tremendous reward that is mentioned in the hadeeth narrated by Abu Umamah radiAllahu anhu in my earlier post. It would also be beneficial in aiding the Da'wah in this region by making connections so that the Salafees can then co-operate upon Birr wa Taqwa inshAllah.

The nearest train station to the Masjid is the New London Train Station. Greyhound buses also stop just near the train station. From there, to the Masjid it would be just 5-10 minutes journey by a taxi.
The parking map is also attached.

Due to events beyond anyone's control, Br. Hasan hafidhahullah would not be able to come to the venue to give a lecture. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. InshAllah we are working on re-scheduling his visit.
However, inshAllah he will give a lecture over the phone in the evening starting at 6:50pm EST. May Allah reward him immensely and bless him and his family. Aameen.

Alhamdulillah, Br. Hasan hafidhahullah gave an excellent lecture yesterday on the topic of "Obligation of sticking to the Sunnah". MashAllah it was very beneficial and is one of the ideal lectures to give to our Muslim brothers and sisters to call them to the correct manhaj. May Allah grant akhoona Hasan the best of rewards for his efforts in Da'wah.
InshAllah the lecture will be available for free download in the next few days.
We are still working on arranging an in-person visit by Br. Hasan in the next few weeks and we will post the updates here inshAllah.
