بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
After returning from birmingham today, I wanted to narrate to you, ya salafiyoona wa salafiyaat the praiseworthy speech of shaykh Falaah Ismaa'eel al Mundikaar regarding our brothers at maktabatus salafiyyah (salafipublications). And we do not praise anyone above Allaah azza wa jall.
The shaykh hafidahullaah on sunday night 29th of august 2004 after his aqeedatul waasitiyyah lesson proceeded into a questions and answers session. One of the questions was pertaining to zakaat, the shaikh hafidahullaah answered the question and went on to say, and he said:
Wallaahi, taking an oath with Allaah that he had certain knowledge, 'ilman yaqeenan, that the brothers at maktabatus salafiyyah was striving in spreading the call to Allaah and aiding it. He said upon you is to make ta'aawun, to co-operate with them. He repeated his words a few times, and he kept on praising the efforts of the maktabatus salafiyyah in all regards. The efforts that brothers have been putting into the Da'wah ilAllaah. He reminded the brothers and sisters of the immense efforts(physically and mentally) and the huge amount of funds that go into the administration of a da'wah centre/masjid/school. As I remember the shaykhs words were long, probably ten minutes or so (in his praise).
I wanted to share this with you O my brothers and sisters, solely due to the fact that the translator for the shaikh that night skipped most of these praises from the shaikh. i.e. the translator summarised it into a sentence or two. This only could have stemmed from modesty and humility and sincerity. For if it was anyone other than a salafi, they would have took that kalaam and ran to all corners of the earth, Wallaahu'aalam.
The translator that night was our brother Abu Hakeem Bilaal Davis hafidahullaah.
