Point 3 ? having a will is the door to attaining knowledge

Aboo anas said;
No thing can be attained, except by exertion in seeking it. It is with full commitment and with the uppermost resolve, that one is able to attain knowledge. It is with hard work and by seizing all opportunities that one is able to achieve this goal.

Thus the prophet would seek refuge from weakness and laziness [as related by al-bukaaree 6367]. It is weakness and laziness that is the cause for one to be distant from good, as it is a strong commitment that brings goodness.
