I want to know of Salafi resources in the US. I am new to Islam and I want to learn about following Salafi tradition.

Bismillaah Al-Hamdulillaah

Since this list has not been updated in almost three years, it seems appropriate to ask if perhaps someone reliable [or a group of reliable people] with contacts can update this list, perhaps by contacting someone from every state, asking:

1- Are these masaajid still upon Salafiyah?

and

2- Have there been any additions?

Allaah knows best.

Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Please see here: "New Muslims Being Invited to Salafiyyah (M. Baazmool)" which is an earlier post in this same section of the forum. A quote:
quote:
So, with this, we have differentiated between the issue of following a Fiqh math-hab and the issue of following the Salafee manhaj. So the Muslim is not required to follow one of the math-habs. But as for following the Salafee manhaj, meaning to understand the Religion in light of what the Messenger (sallallaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) and his Companions were upon, to follow the way of the Salaf, I say that this is the true Islaam. Whoever goes away from this, he only goes away from the true Islaam.

May Allah bless you.
