Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, wa salaatu wa salaamu ala arasoolullaahi wa ala alihe wa ashabihe ajma'een,
I had been made aware of this story some time ago and needless to say I had my doubts. At the same time I am aware of the fact that you will find amongst the muslim ranks those who desire to be more like ahl-kitaab rather than ahlul-sunnah. So with that said I may have doubted this to be accurate when I first heard of it but I would not have been so surprised if it had actually been true. We know and are aware of the very consistent attempts by the enemies of Allaah to denigrate islaam and dissuade the muslims from what is best for them and that is Islaam upon the way of the salafus saliheen as they understood it from the Messenger of Allaah, salallaahu alayhe wa ala alihe wa sallam. They have continued to perplex the people with distractions and complexities that we know do not exist in the religion. The religion is easy walhamdulillaah. Yet they strive to disseminate the "winds of change" filled with the odors of kuffr. May Allaah make clear for us the way that is upon guidance and give us the ability to follow it, Ameen.
