Can someone please post the (Arabic) text for the hadeeth where the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: Wallaahi if my brother Moosaa was alive he would have no choice but to follow me.

Baarak Allaahu feekum.

Al-Albaanee calls it "hasan" in Irwaa Al-Ghaleel #1589, after discussing its different sources.

I was under the impression that this narration was having a weak chain because of Mujaalid ibn Sa'eed in the chain. What exactly did our father, Shaikh Naasir, rahimahullaah say about it?

Baarak Allaahu feekum for your replies! sweetsunnah, the narration I was looking for was the second one, but I can't make out the word that I wanted. It's the word that comes after "kaana hayyan, maa" near the end. Is there a way of enlarging the font when viewing arabic text? Jazaakumullaahu khairan.

Allaahul-Musta'aan! Now I see why I couldn't read it properly. I mistakened that kasra under the letter "seen" for a dot, thinking it was the letter "ba'". Jazaakumullaahu khairan!

The Muhaddith Imaam Shaykh Albaani (Irwaa 6/34-38) summarised:

Reported by Ahmed (3/387) by way of Mujaalid upon Ash-Sha'bi upon Jabir ibn Abdillaah.
Likewise Ad-Daarimi (1/115), Ibn Abi 'Aasim As-Sunnah (5/2), Ibn Abdil Barr Jaami' Bayaanil ilm (2/42), Al-Harawi Dhammul Kalaam (4/67) and Ad-Diyaa Al-Maqdasi Al-Muntaqa min Masmoo'aatihi (2/33) all of them upon Mujaalid.

I say (Shaykh Albaani): This chain contains a weakness due to Mujaalid and he is Ibn Sa'eed Al-Hamdaani.

I say: But the Hadeeth is strong, for indeed it has many supporting witnesses.

Then Shaykh Albaani mentions approx. 8 supports those who want to read further then return Inshaa Allaah to the reference above.
