Bismillaahi Was-salaatu was-salaamu 'alaa rasoolillah As-salaamu 'alaikum I am from South Africa and probably one of about 4 salafees inshaAllah. I have been trying to find out about salafees in South Africa for a long time but with no effect. I would like to know if there are any South African Salafees posting here or if anyone knows about salafees in South Africa. People here in South Africa are still very resistant to the Salafee da'wah and I am encountering many difficulties in my attempts to spread this blessed da'wah. If anyone has any information on salafees here in south Africa please contact please let me know . BaarakAllaahu feekum Zaahir Abrahams

From what I know, South Africa is heavily influenced by the Deobandis, Jamaat tablighis and possibly Barelwis. Is the local hero, the late Ahmed Deedat considered to be an innovator?
