س: ما حكم الصلاة خلف إمام محافظ على الصلوات ويصوم ويكيى، إلا أنه يأكل القات ويشرب الشيشة، رغم أن ذلك لا يؤخره عن موعد الصلاة وحضور الجماعة بالإضافة إلى أنه تفوته بعض أحكام التجويد؟
ج: الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله وعلى آله وصحبه وبعد:
أما الصلاة فهي صحيحة، فإن كان إماماً راتباً فصل وراءه وانصحه فيما بينك وبينه، أما إن كان غير راتب ويمكن إبداله بمن هو أحسن منه فهو الأفضل إن استطعتم ذلك، وبالله التوفيق.

CONCERNING PRAYER BEHIND AN ?IMAAM WHO EATS KAT AND SMOKES NARGHILE/HOOKAH
Q: What is the ruling of the Prayer behind an ?imaam who guards over the Prayers, and he fasts and gives Zakaah, except that he eats kat (qaat) and smokes narghile/hookah (sheeshah). Although that does not delay him from the time of Prayer and attending the congregation, in addition to that he neglects some of the rulings of Tajweed?
A: All praise is for Allaah, and may Extolation (as-Salaah) and peace and security (as-Salaam) be upon the Messenger of Allaah and also his true followers and Companions. And to follow on:
As for the prayer then it is correct. If he is a fixed and appointed ?imaam then pray behind him and advise him concerning what is between you and him, as for if he is not a fixed and appointed (?imaam) and it is possible to replace him with one who is better than him it is better and more excellent if you are able to do that, and by Allaah is (the granting of) Success (at-Tawfeeq).
