As-Salaamu' Alaikum wa Rahman tu'Llah,
An individual was reciting the Qur'an and was interrupted by the playing of their children, to break the individual said 'Subhan-Allah'. Once they settled their children, they continued reciting for the sake of memorization. My question, is this from the Sunnah to say 'Suphan'Allah' when breaking (in the middle of an ayah for example) recitation of Qur'an, either in the case of memorization or recitation in salaat? I hear people doing this often, when I ask for dhaleel why, they say that this is what they used to do.

From what i know is that it is sunnah if you want to stop someone from reading the Qur'aan is to say حسبك 'enough' as is established in the Hadeeth of Ibn mas'ood in Bukhaari.

As-Salaamu' Alaikum Abu'Salmaan.
Can you fanetically write out the arabic word for 'enough' mentioned in the hadith of Ibn' Masood, I do not have the arabic support on my computer and there are others from the salafiyoon who may not either looking at this post. What booking in the Sahih of Imam Al-Bukhari is this hadith? Jazaakul'Llahu' khaira.

For the borthers who do not have arabic support in internet explorer, they can get it by clicking on
view on the menu then encoding then more and slect arabic (windows), inshaAllah this should work.

The administrator of the computer I'm using (because the computer I'm using now is at my job) has to enable the Arabic option. My installation failed! Can one of the brothers/sisters with Arabic support possibly sharing my circumstance please post the word for 'enough' fanetically? Shukran Jazeelan.

The wording is 'HASBUKA' or 'HASBUKI' when saying to a woman. Or you can say 'Amsik' or Amsiki' for the woman as is the wording in Bukhaari in the book of tafseer 'Comentary' of the comentary of aayah 41 of surah Nisaa hadeeth number 1833 in the summarized translated version by daarus salaam.
