Selam a3laikum, I have a question. Since I live in the Netherlands there aren't much possibilities to be a talib ul'ilm. There is a organisation nearby where various classes are given. They teach qur'an, aqiedah, fiqh and arabic. But this organisation sells books and cd's of Sayyid Qutb, Adnan Aroor and others. Also the teachers are students of a sheikh who defends Qutb and Adnan Aroor. This same sheikh attacks sheikh Rabi3 (haffidullah). The organisation also refuses to sell books from sheikh Rabi3 (haffidullah). So my question is: What is the ruling on attending these lessons? because there is no real alternative. Is it Masjid-as-Sunnah which lies between Holland Spoor and the Hague? I used to go there from Zoetermear every single day which was about 8 years ago and this month I was really glad to meet one of the brother's from that mosque in Shaykh Rabee's house. Abu Yousuf Eisa should be able to guide you Insha Allah. Most of those I knew used to live in Venray (Board any Utrecht train that goes through Neighmeikhen and its not far from there) but that is too far from the Hague.
