As-Salaamu 'Alaikum, The masjid where I live was built by a Shi'ah. The people who pray in it are Sunni though, and he (the Shi'ah) himself does not pray in the Masjid. Also, this individual has a plaque near the entrance basically as a memorial for himself saying that he built it. Is it permissible to pray in this place? As Salamu Alaikum. Abu Khadijah, it might be an idea to give as much information as possible to allow any Shaikh (if anyone takes it to any Shaikh) to have a clearer picture of all the parameters. Like who is the Imaam, what is is his manhaj, aqeedah.
