In a recent popular forum post at sahab.net- ýMeeting of Sheikh Rabee'a and Sheikh al-Wasaabee, may Allaah preserve them both ýon the 18th of Ramadhaan 1430 in Mecca ý, our brother Ahmad Ibn ýAhmad ýAlee wrote the following:ý ýOn Yawn al-Arbaýa, the 18th day of Ramadhaan, 1430, the guiding ýscholar Sheikh Muhammad Ibn ýAbdul-Wahaab al-Wasaabee al-ýýAbdaalee, may Allaah preserve him, visited the guiding scholar ýSheikh Rabeeýa Ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee, may Allaah preserve him ýat his home in Mecca before salat ul-maghrib. As the esteemed ýbrother ýAbdul-Kareem al-Dowlah narrated:ý In his home during a visit of a large group of students of knowledge ýfrom the people of the Sunnah from Algeria, Lebanon, Egypt, ýYemen, and Saudi Arabia, while Sheikh Muhammad Ibn ýAbdul-ýWahaab al-Wasaabee was present and sitting next to him- Sheikh ýRabeeýa stated:ý ý ýThis is Sheikh al-Wasaabee from the senior scholars of Yemen and ýits callers.ýý After this Sheikh Muhammad then simply made a short statement ýdue to the lack of time.ýý ý---ý Another brother Abu ýAbdullah Shareef Hamd narrated further down in the same forum post thread:ý ýOn the 20th Day of Ramadhaan our sheikh and father, Sheikh ýRabeeýa (also within his home) presented Sheikh al-Wasaabee, may ýAllaah preserve both of them, to those attending in order for him to ýcomment on some of the verses of the Book of Allaah, the Most ýHigh the Most Exalted, being discussed in the lesson. Sheikh al-ýWasaabee spoke and mentioned the issue of thankfulness towards ýAllaah for His blessings upon us in relation to the religion and ýworldly matters. Then our esteemed Sheikh Rabeeýa further ýcommented upon those verses being discussed. Indeed those who ýwere present benefited from the explanations given by both of ýthese scholars, may Allaah preserve them both.ý By Allaah, certainly from the blessing of Allaah upon His worshiper ýis that He enables him to meet with the scholars and the senior ýpeople of knowledge and benefit from the advice and guidance that ýthey possess, may Allaah preserve and safeguard all of them.ý As how many, how many people truly wish to have the opportunity ýto meet the scholars and sit at their knees taking from the guidance ýthey possess!
