Wa alaikum salam wa Rahmatullah wa barakatahu Some lectures of Murtaza khan are available on youtube. A quick browse on the internet will quickly show a brief background of this individual. "He graduated from the International Islamic University, Islamabad in June 2001 with BA Honours in Usool-ud-Din and has been actively involved in the field of da'wah for many years. At present he is an Islamic Studies teacher in al-Noor Primary School , London . He is also a visiting khateeb at Al-Ansar Islamic Education Centre, Islamic Da'wah Centre and University of East London. He has worked closely with numerous organisations and individuals to promote Islam and has translated and presented various seminars and lectures. He is involved in da'wah across the UK". Well the Al-Ansar Islamic Education Centre has felt the need to invite 'Shaykh' Haitham al-Haddad to deliver a lecture, whom they say is a person who "sits on the board of advisors of a number of key Islamic organisations in the United Kingdom, including the Islamic Sharia Council of britain". This Islamic Sharia Council who has Dr.Suhaib Hasan as its secretary!. Regarding Haitham al-Haddad, then he is one of those who signed the 'Pledge of Mutual Respect and Cooperation Between Sunni Muslim Scholars, Organizations, and Students of Sacred Knowledge'.
