Asalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakaatuh! So there is sister who wants to become Muslim, wAllahu akbar! And she was asking me to help her, and asked about reading the Quran first. But I told her to read about Tawheed and Shirk before anything else, and gave her some pages on this topic. However, after this point, I promised to give her some more material on Tawheed. Can anyone please advice me on what books/ebooks/statements from the scholars I can give her? She sounds like she's sure about wanting to become Muslim, but I don't think she knows much about our perspective of the Dunya and the Aakhira, and that maintaining our Salawaat is a factor in staying within the fold of Islam, etc... Also, any general advice on how I should start giving her Da'wah? I wanted to sit down with her and explain to her the importance of Tawheed, then if she accepts it, maybe go on and let her read some Quran with commentary from the Sunnah. I was thinking Hilali and Muhsin's version. All and any advice is needed!! I will have to sit with her soon so please I request all brothers and sisters to chip in any beneficial information!! barakAllahu feekum
