We ask Allaah Azza wa Jall to grant Abu Uwais (rahimahulLaah) firmness in the Barzakh and the Hereafter - just as he was firm upon the Salafi way in this life as is apparent to anyone who knew him. And we ask Allaah to shower His mercy upon him and to grant him Paradise. May Allaah ease the affair of his family and children and grant them patience in this distressing time. Ameen. Please make abundant du`aa for this brother.

As Salaam 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuh.

Bismillaah, wal-hamdulillaah, was-salaatu was-salaamu 'alaa rasoolillaah, wa ba'd

It brings great sadness to my heart, to hear the news of the passing of our dear respected brother, Abu Uwais.

Narrated Anas:

A funeral procession passed in front of the Prophet and the people praised the deceased. The Prophet said, "It has been affirmed (Paradise)." Then another funeral procession passed by and the people talked badly of the deceased. The Prophet said, "It has been affirmed (Hell)." Allah's Apostle was asked, "O Allah's Apostle! You said it has been affirmed for both?" The Prophet said, "The testimony of the people (is accepted), (for) the believer are Allah's witnesses on the earth."
Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 48, Number 810

I pray that Allahu Subhana wa'tala makes him steadfast at the time of questioning,

Uthman (ra) narrated that after Allah's Messenger (salallahu alaihi wa'salam) buried a person, he, (salallahu alaihi wa'salam) would stand by the grave and say:

<Ask Allah to grant to your brother forgiveness and firmness (of words), because he is being questioned at this moment.>

recorded by Abu Dawud and Al-Hakim; verified to be authentic by Shaykh Nasiruddin al-Albani (Sahihul-Jami no. 945)

Please remember our dear brother, and beg Allahu subhana wa'tala to grant to him the Jannah, and to make the way easy for his family.. Ameen.

May Allahu Subhana wa'tala have mercy on us all, and grant to us the utmost benefit from all the duroos / naseeha that our dear brother spent so much of his time and energies providing us with... Ameen.

"Innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji'oon."

Ya Rahmatika ya Rabbul-'Aalameen!

May Allaah Reward our Noble Brother and Elder Aboo Uways, Forgive him of his shortcomings and render his countless hours of da'wah (in its many forms) high upon his scale of righteous deeds.

One who was a 'straight-shooter', not fearing the blame of those who blame, upholding the Sunnah against all odds. Deafeating the fitnah of Aboo Muslimah in a time when many were not speaking and perhaps by Allaah's will, saving many from the destruction of hizbiyyah.

A breathe of fresh air admist the odur of politics and politicians in our time. May Allaah unite him and us in the Jannah or as Aboo Uways said in one of his more recent lectures, describing the Paradise in store for the believers, 'Janatan! (Two Gardens) Having you not read, sooratur-Rahmaan!...' in his typically profound and heart-reaching voice. May Allaah raise more like him from amongst us.

Aboo Zakariyyah 'Umar Ibn Ismaa'eel Ibn Sultaan

  Innalillaahi-wa-innailaihiraajioon
May Allaah bless him in the hereafter just as he is blessed in our minds  in this life. It is sad when someone who represented the dawah so well leaves the world. May Allaah give him success in the hereafter.
