Assalaamu 'alaikum wa rahamtullaahi wa barakaatuhu. Please can anyone explain to me the ruling on cleaning yourself six times with water & one time with earth - Does this refer to if the dog touches you (any part of the dog's body) or only if it licks you (saliva),since we have many strays here in India & one requires to know this ruling. Also when one keeps domesticated dogs for guarding livestock or hunting ,one will invariably touch the dog. So what is the ruling on this? BaarakAllaahu feekum, wassalaamu 'alaykum.
