As-Salaamu'Alaikum wa'Rahma tu'Llah, I'm looking for evidence regarding the impermissibility of a marriage that is done w/o two witnesses. I know of quite a few situations where the man married with the wali, the sister or without the sister present, and only a single witness or even no witnesses. I found some ahadith regarding there being no marriage without the presence of at least two trustworthy witnesses.
