al-Hamdu-Lillaahi Rabbil-'Aalameen was-Salaatu was-Salaamu 'alaa Ashrafil-Anbiyaa?e wal-Mursaleen, wa ba'd: as-Salaam 'alaykum wa-Rahmatullaahi wa-Barakaatuhu, We see many people here in India who point there index finger & point it towards the sky when they say the Shahaadah either after the Wudhu or during the Iqaamah.
