As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah I have some questions in regards to keeping family ties. I know that it is wajib upon us to keep the ties to our immediate family regardless if they are muslim or not. But does this also mean we have to keep our ties to our extended families as well being that they are not muslim? Also what is the ruling for adoptive parents after one has accepted Islam?
