bissmillahi ar rahmani ar rahim Assalamou 'alaykoum wa rahmatoullahi wa barakaatouh 1)i would like to know what is the houkm of eating snails (halazoon in arabic) is i remember having heard from one or 'aalim among the 4 a-imah, that it was disgusting, and so one should not eat it, but i do not remember the name of the Imam properly. Also if i am right, the person had told me the same point of view from Shaykh al 'outheymin (rahimahou llah), but again i am not sure. Anyone knows or can look for me in the fatawa books? 2) secondly, is it right, that, as long as someone has not brought a proof (for a douniya matter), and says he heard it was harram / makrouh, that he is considered beeing a liar (till he brings the dalil)? wa jazakoum Allahou khairan. " al haqqou min rabbikoum" (Ali 'Imran).
