Could anyone tell me if those emoticons ( the smiley faces, frowns, and others from the messenger services like AOl,MSN,Yahoo) are permissable to make?
One sister told me they were ok because they didnt resemble anything Allah created. But that would make Gumby, Pac-man, stick figures,Pokemon characters, and Furbies permissable.

DOES THIS ALSO GO FOR "INSTANT MESSAGE BOARDS" LIKE YAHOO, MSN, EVEN PALTALK HAS IT. I MEAN, WHEN YOU OPEN ROOMS LIKE SALAFI DUROOS....RIGHT ABOVE THE AREA TO SEND A TEXT THERE IS A "HAPPY FACE"(ITS ALREADY THERE, WITHOUT YOU WANTING IT TO BE)....THE SAME FOR YAHOO AND MSN....

The happy face seen in the paltalk chatrooms are only there when the room has been video enabled. Many people never intend to use the video feature in the paltalk chatrooms but when setting up their rooms they check the video enable box and this is what gives you the happy face. You will notice that not ALL rooms on paltalk have a happy face in them.
