In the Name of Allaah, the Most Merciful... It has been claimed that:
In response to this: By Alaah's Grace and Bounty, the Salafis that I know, the scholars, students, and commonfolk, may Allaah bless them and increase them in goodness, are from the most concerned Muslims there are when it comes to putting an end to anonymous people spreading information on the internet. And in fact, this forum has featured statements from the scholars, like Shaykh 'Ubayd, and Shaykh Rabee' ibn Haadee, and others (may Allaah preserve them), about the need to shun false screen names. And some of the students here have discussed the need for of using real names in detailed discussions, in support of the advice of the scholars. Furthermore, this forum requires its members to register with their real names and places of residences, and to use a signature in every post that includes this information. Other Salafi forums have also instituted the likes of this requirement, may Allaah reward them well. The Salafi Da'wah is a call to clarity, and we do not view that reports are to be accepted from anonymous or unknown persons. These are our words and our actions back them up, and to Allaah is the Praise. We pray that Allaah makes us examples of true believers in word and deed, in all affairs of the Religion. And Allaah knows best. *As for those Muslims who refuse to use the internet in accordance with the specific guidance of the concerned scholars and their genuine requests that are based on the Deen and in the best interests of the Muslims, we ask Allaah to guide them to what is best.
