هذا ليس تقليدا إنما هو أتباع للعلماء )) أ هـ sahab.com Men are known by the truth, the truth is not known by way of men.

[This is not a translation of the above, but something similar] Furthermore, from the advice he offered the students of knowledge that now stands as an undeniable proof against his own self: "...The one who returns to the people of knowledge, going to them in all affairs, in both the apparent and the confusing issues, is granted success, in shaa' Allaah. So from this important advice of returning to the people of knowledge is that taking knowledge is done by way of the akaabir (senior scholars), and knowledge is not taken from the asaaghir. The asaaghir, as some scholars have explained, are the people of innovation, even if their reputation has been magnified to some people. The people of innovation are lowly and wicked, even if they possess some prestige with some of the people, those who do not even know the straight path..." These days, his interaction with the 'ulamaa' has been limited to ridiculing them, taunting them, challenging them, refusing their advice, calling them disgraceful, etc.! "...In every situation, returning to the people of knowledge, and taking from them, protects one from fitnah. So be warned about the wicked asaaghir, the people of desires and straying, the people who make statements that contradict Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah! (Be warned about) the people who try to divide and split the ranks of those who follow the truth!..." As if he was describing his own self! (this article is STILL available on elmenhaj.com, wallaahu musta'aan!)
