  As salaamu alaikum wa rahmahtullah wa barakatu.

Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alameen.  The Happiness is in As Salafiyyah Vol 2, was another successful Salafi event.  Many Salafiyeen came to benefit from the People of Knowledge and the Du'aat and also to give support to the dawah, Alhamdulillah.  It showed the unity that Ahl us Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah have, Alhamdulillah. The smiles that were seen on the faces as you gave salaams and the many handshakes that one received or one gave, were easily accepted by one another.  Here is an example, InShaAllaah, of the Salafiyeen eager to get questions answered and/or to hear the responses to questions asked.  During the early morning meal, I saw Abu Uwais sitting and talking at a table with a about 4, 5, or 6 brothers, wa Allaahu Alam, he was waiting for organizers to set up for the beginning of the day's activities.  I said to myself I better go over there and listen and get whatever ilm that I could get, InShaAllaah.  Abu Uwais was answering questions asked by the few brothers that were there at the table, MaaShaAllaah.  Next thing you know, there were many brothers sitting and listening and/or asking questions, Alhamdulillah.  Then the sisters, who were upstairs on the terrace, asked if Abu Uwais could speak up so that they too can benefit from the answers to the questions being asked. The sisters proceeded to drop written questions for Abu Uwais, MaaShaAllaah. The brothers who were setting up the audio from Masjid ad Dawah ilat Tawheed sent one microphone to the table to test the audio, then another mic came. So now microphones were on hand.  

Abu Uwais finally got some help, when Aqil Ingram showed up near the table. He was persuaded by Abu Uwais to take a question or two, and the next thing you know I gestured for Aqil to get an empty seat at the table, he then joined us at the table, Alhamdulillah.  So now it was Abu Uwais and Aqil Ingram taking and answering questions at this unscheduled sitting, Alhamdulillah. Then I saw Hasan As Somali in the back, and I motioned for him to come and take a seat at the table, he humbly came and joined in, Alhamdulillah. It is always good to see these brothers come together for the purpose of spreading the dawah and helping to teach us our Deen, by bringing to us the words of the Ulema, past and present, biithnillah wa alhamdulillah.  

I ask Allaah Subhana Wa Ta'Ala to make this heavy on the scales of good deeds for Ahlul Ilm, who gave a talk to the salafiyeen, Ameen.  I ask Allaah Subhana Wa Ta'Ala to make this heavy on the scales of good deeds for the talibul ilm who spoke, Ameen. I ask Allaah Subhana Wa Ta'Ala to make this heavy on the scales of good deeds for the Salafiyeen at Masjid ad Dawah ilat Tawheed, Ameen. I ask Allaah Subhana Wa Ta'Ala to make this heavy on the scales of the good deeds for the Salafiyeen that supported this event by their presence at the event, by their financial contributions, and by their du'a that the event be granted tawfeeq, Ameen. May Allaah Ta'Ala continue to allow us to receive knowledge of his Deen and to continue to show support and unity with Ahl us Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah, ameen.

  Salaamu Ailaykum,

I want to thank the Brothers & Sisters in Maryland, and May Allaah reward them for their efforts...Aameen!  For me, the highlight of the conference was the impromptu Q & A session by our brother Abu Uwais that lasted for hours.  It began at one table after breakfast, then the crowd increased, growing large as time went by.  Our brother Hasan Somali joined later.  That was something really special, and Insha'Allaah I'll never forget it.
