As salaamu 'alaykum ikhwaan wa akhawaat,

In replying to a question, Shaykh Ibn Baz said,

This was translated on the Alifta website (click here) as
quote:
This is the way that must be adopted, followed, and preached and whatever disagrees with it including innovations brought about by the people must be abandoned and repudiated through explanation and clarification, so that none (of those rejecting the Faith) would be punished except after clear evidence.
However, on SalafiTalk (click here) it was translated as
quote:
This is the manhaj that it is waajib to hold on to and cling on to, and traverse upon. And every one of those who opposes this of which the people has innovated then it is waajib to abandon and reject them, clarifying them with a clear clarification up until no ones is destroyed except with evidence.
I have made some of the portions bold in the above quotes. Can someone please clarify what is the correct translation of this quote particularly based on the context of the entire Q&A? JazaakAllaahu khayran.

  wa 'alaykas-salaamu wa rahmatullaah

the ifta translation seems more accurate to me, based on the arabic provided

Moosaa ibn John Richardson
