al-Hamdulillah wa salatu wa salamu 'ala Rasulullah salamu alaikum wa rahmatullah; we are familiar with the Hadith cursing the women who wear false hair but many of our Muslim brothers have opened stores that sell exclusively this product, the entire shop from ceiling to floor has a wide variety of false hair, extensions, wigs etc! Some need us to get statements from the scholars on the prohibition of this trade/business and that it is not a halal business. Can anyone help? Abu Nurani Shamsuddin

AL HAMDULILLAH WA SALATU WA SALAMU 'ALA RASULULLAH Salamu alaikum wa rahmatullah; Imam Bukhari [rahimahullah] has a Chapter in his collection entitled "To go out in search of knowledge. - And Jabir bin Abdullah travelled for one month to get a single Hadith from Abdullah bin Unais." Then he relates the story of Musa [alaihi salam] and Khidr. I'm again asking that someone make contact with the people of knowledge concerning this matter of the selling of false hair that the women today glue to their heads or weave it into their hair.
